They charged my credit card for multiple months when their service was not used at all (because my cancellation request was not processed in time). After complaining to BBB, they refunded back to my credit card. BBB was of help to me in this case.
I do want to point out though that BBB might consider a problem resolved even if a customer is unhappy with the company's response. If BBB believes that a company made a good effort to solve the problem, they will close the case as resolved. So there could be 200 resolved complaints for a company and the customers might be unhappy in all these cases. BBB does not report if a customer was satisfied with the resolution or not.
