This seems to be the company's answer to everything and as long as they are legally take money from us they ( thee is another word that comes to mind more fitting here) dont care what there employees do or how much they screw up someone computer. They are not going to pay for damages either way and they sure as hell are not going to say they screwed up.
They screwed up my computer so bad that another company local to where i live had to repair it at there shop. After working for several hours on-line to attempted to get NORTON"s screw up repaired they had to see the system in there shop'
Symantec does not care because they had taken our money an basically destroyed system and caused lost of information and materials as well as additional cost to me ....which they could care less. There company rep Mr rogers will touble talk you to death and when he finds he is getting no where they do the refund your money card and the hell with the rest of the damaged they caused.......Bottom line Norton/Symantec sucks. they are runing a company just takes money does damage then fails to make it right......hey but what do they care as long as they get there might dollar than the hell with us ...there just going to crap on us big time...and roger's speaks from both sides of his month.......very bad company and crappy customer service.....but again what they care..... Company's Response Consumer's Rebuttal Consumer's Rebuttal - Posted 11/10/2010 The refund was a start but there is still the matter of cost that has occured do to neglience symantec/nortons teks working on my computer and cause me to spend addition money to repair there mistakes.
