I did a 30 day trial. I was not at all impressed with the Norton Internet Security product I purchased and they charged my credit card ON the 30th day, the day I was going to cancel it. I chatted with customer service online and they processed my refund but was not told when to expect it. I chatted again with them online 7 days later to find out about how long it would be and I was told to give it 24 to 48 more hours. 3 days later, I chatted with them again, and now it has been 11 days since my promised refund, and I was told that it was never processed but that they would process it now and it will take 5 to 10 MORE business days. I told this guy that was typing from India that I wished to speak to his supervisor and he transferred me. The new guy was very condescending and told me that there was nothing he could do and that he was "extremely sorry" for this "technical error". I told him that I would not wait 20 days for my refund and to send me a check if that would get to me quicker. He informed me a check would take longer and I asked to speak to his supervisor but he would not transfer me. I then asked for Corporate's info and he informed me that he did not have that info. All of the conversations I have had with these people have been typed in horrible broken English, some of which I didn't even understand. I feel like they have stolen my money and they are taking forever to refund it, hoping I will forget about it. They are thieves and after reading all of the negative reviews from folks who have had this exact same problem, I wish I had read it before I tried Norton out. If you're reading this wondering if you should try the Norton 30 day trial, RUN THE OTHER WAY! Use anyone else, but don't use Norton. You will regret it.
