I had a virus and called for help. The virus was so severe that it would not let me install my Norton 360. I was eventually told the only thing that they could do would be to remotely take over my PC to remove the virus. I agreed, handed over my credit card info and waited.
One hour later, while still on hold a friend suggested a very simple remedy that worked. I stayed on he line to tell tech support that I had solved the issue, and NOT to charge my card.
They immediately, that day, charged me $99.99 for the technical services that I never received. After several calls, I was promised a refund within 24 hours that I have yet to see many days later. I have spent hours on the phone tying to find resolution....to no avail.
