I would not recommend this company for services to be provided. After requesting a shower head to be replaced - I received a bill in excess of $750.00 for labor that included 'hunting down and returning parts'. The company claims that they had to rebuild the shower head versus replacing the shower head for a cost of $50 max. The hourly billing for this service call worked out to be in excess of $138 per hour (actual billing rate per hour listed at $80).
While onsite they also called to tell me that my kitchen sink had a leak and that the faucet also needed to be replaced. An estimate was never forthcoming but was assured that this was a necessity.
Also, in my bill that was received, there was a charge for clearing out the drain, which was also a service never discussed and an unnecessary service provided by Professional Plumbing.
I wish I had thought to check out their rating prior to trusting them with my plumbing needs.
They did have to drive to my home which was out of the area and must have built up their billing to cover the time they didn't want to spend in travel or gas.
Be very wary before using this company and request a written estimate before authorizing them to perform services. Otherwise, you'll receive an excessive bill.
