If you ever see or read an advertisement from Netflix, do yourself a favor, and run screaming the other direction! I have been with Netflix for a year and never had a problem with them until recently. I had a payment due on 12/23/10 and, due to my own error, the funds were not available in my account. Due to the hard times we are all experiencing, my payment was not available until 01/19/11. On that date, they withdrew the full month payment...no problem. Well, then not 4 days later they tried to take ANOTHER full months payment on 01/23/11. Funds were not available because I paid bills believing that I had just paid for 30 days of service. When I called their customer service I was very rudely told that the payment on 01/19/11 was for the period of 12/23/10-01/23/11. Why would I pay anyone a full months payment for 4 days of service? IF this written in their Terms and Conditions, in legalese I'm sure, it is not prominent as I have not been able to find any reference to charging you for service you never received. In this country, I would hope this is not legal. If it is, it is at the least unethical and immoral. You be the judge!
