On 09-07-2010 my husband received a call in Spanish from multi-productos stating he won $1,000.00. The woman went on to further state they he would be sent a his and her Beautiful watch set. She then said she needed his visa number and after he gave it she then stated he would be billed 199.00 for an english course. My husband did not want the course but said this way he would get the $1,000.00 in gifts. The wind uo was he was to get a catalog and pick out 1.000.00 of products. At the end of the conversation she toild him the conversation was recorded. I called customer service about 2 hours later and said I wanted to stop this transaction. First of all when I spoke english she said she only spoke spanish.I spoke spanish there was no way to stop the transaction. She had already sent it off. SHE was extremely rude but apparently knew that since was gave her the number she was holding the cards and laughed. Well we gut the package yesterday. The watches are worth about $10.00 and did not work. The english couse is ridiculous with a certification that you sign that you passed the course./ They sent a pamplet of products that you pick for 1,000.00 but have to pay handling and postage and the value of the products was highly questionable. I sent the package back to them/ the english couse, the no good watches ,and the catalog. I fell they are targeting hispanics only. The whole thing seems like a scam and I do want my visa credited for the $199.00
oh - I called better business in florida and they do have a F rating.
