Unprofessional and Rude
Showed up for this appointment about 6 months ago. I wasn't able to find the office within the building so I called the front desk. They were unable to give me directions on how to reach their office. I asked how they get into the building and the person literally replied "I don't know." After eventually finding the office, I expected to find a somewhat medical setup but everything was kind of grungy, it looked like a highschool stoners basement. They gave me a series of videos to watch for education on the process which wouldn't work and they just kind of gave up. After waiting for an hour, I asked when the appointment would start. They said the doctor would be in soon. After an hour and half I asked again. They said he was running late and had stepped out of the office. I was the only person in there and didn't feel comfortable having any sort of procedure done by someone who can't even keep track of their appointments. I asked for a refund and a receipt. They were unable to provide a receipt for a while because they couldn't figure out the printer. Electronic devices seems to be a particular struggle for them. Fast forward to this week and I get a cal SIX MONTHS later saying I had left my ID there. No idea why it took them so long to get in contact or why they didn't just put it in the mail as mailing an ID requires no postage or envelope. I asked them to shred it which they said they couldn't do. (Important to note I already have a new ID so I asked them if they could just shred it since that would be the easiest option) Since they said they couldn't shred it, the person asked if I'd like them to email it to me...multiple times she said this. Eventually I was able to confirm that she did in fact understand the difference between mail and email. I spent about 5 minutes repeating my address since it has changed from the address listed on my ID. Things like that happen when 6 months pass before you try to return something to someone. She finally got it written down and we hung up. Two days later she calls again and says her manager said they can't mail it to the new address because they can't confirm it's me. Fine, I get that. So I told them to just put it in the mail as is, no postage or anything, and since my mail is forwarded to my new address it would make it to me eventually. Then for some reason, the manager called me back right after. I'm not sure if the receptionist thought I wanted to talk to him or something? He asked what the problem was and I said nothing, we had figured it all out. Then he starts reciting the events of all the phone calls and I was annoyed because it was a total waste of time. I was sick of explaining and had provided them with literally the easiest option. You could trip and drop it in a mail box. Hell, even throw it on a sidewalk and it has a better chance of getting to me than any of them have of figuring out a process period. So I'm annoyed and this guy won't shut up, seeming to think I'm insisting it be delivered to my new address, he won't listen to me and is just talking over me and arguing. Then he "threatens" me saying "how about we just shred it and then you can find a new place to pick up your ID." ????? That's literally what I asked you to do in the first place?? This place is disorganized, unprofessional, and honestly just really annoying. Go to the U instead and give your business to people who can operate basic technology. TLdr: "clinic" keeps my ID for 6 months, won't shred it for me, can't figure out how to mail it to me, gets mad when I ask them to just throw it in a mail box and "threatens" me with shredding it which is what I wanted in the first place.
