I was refered to Dr. Katami and Dr. Hassan by Dr. Herford from Loma Linda's School of Dentistry in 2011. I needed both top and bottom set of dentures after major bone loss from a traumatic accident requiring several reconstructive surgeries. Dr. Katami discussed the overall plan on my first visit. My second visit included making dental impressions/molds. On my third visit Dr. Katami explained all of my options for different teeth layouts. Each one custom to my specific mouth. He then made the premold in front of me, making adjustments to it as my different suggestions were given. When I received my new dentures I could not believe how great they looked. With his expert knowledge and my suggestions they were made custom to my liking. I would also like to reiterate that my mouth shape and size was far from normal. I lost more than half my teeth, gums and bone from an accident. That did not stop Dr. Katami from doing an amazing job. His staff is very friendly, caring, and personable. They each made me feel welcome and comfortable. The insurance billing has been handled by the staff and was done right. Dr. Katami is very dedicated to my case. I can tell he is a perfectionist, making sure everything is done the right way. I want to mention that this is the 2nd set of dentures that I've had made. The first set was made by a different Dr. office and were not custom at all. I had no say in the process as they were sent to a lab. Dr. Katami is great at his job. I have no complaints. If you have suffered and traumatic accident, I would suggest Dr. Katami and Hassan will do an excellent job!
