BALLY LOVES TO DECEIVE SENIORS.
My mom is a senior in her 70's.
Without consulting me (I've read several horrible Bally membership stories on the net), she signed a contract with Bally Club (1628 N. El Centro Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90028) for TWO MONTHS on January 31, 2011.
She made it very clear that she wanted a contract for 2 months.
The person who made the contract LIED to her that the contract will be automatically cancelled after two months.
Of course, it wasn't cancelled like they promised and Bally stole $53.98 last month.
I called their #, (323) 461-0227, to speak with the supervisor.
He was an incredibly rude scumbag who shouted at me, "Hey! You want my help or not?!"
That asshole said only two things repeatedly like a broken record. (1) It doesn't matter what the person made the contract promised to my mom. (2) If my mom doesn't want Bally to steal the monthly fee every month, she should cancel the membership by sending a letter.
After I criticized the way Bally does business, he said I should talk to the person who made the contract.
So I asked if I can speak with that person, he said, "No, you can't!"
And then he hung up on me.
PLEASE WARN YOUR ELDERLY PARENTS & OTHER SENIORS AROUND YOU ABOUT BALLY.
