This is the most dishonest company I've ever run into. I'm a 76-year-old widow who was scammed royally by these people. They quoted me a price and said it was a "binding" contract. They asked for one fourth down payment. Silly me complied. When the "movers" got there, they walked through my 600+ foot apartment and the quoted price tripled. They also said they got $70.00 times three (there were three of them) for every additional 50 feet after the original 50 feet to the truck. At first the main guy (Alon) was argumentative and said he was going to repack everything and then move it. I said "NO" and said I was going to call my son and the building security person. About that time, my neighbor came in and I was not alone with them. The three of them then became friendly and Alon made a call telling someone to refund my $408.00. A week later I started calling the office asking when I might expect the refund of my deposit. I started by talking to Kim, the person I first spoke to on the phone. She referred me to several other people. One was a very young sounding man who was rude and told me in no uncertain terms that "his" company did not give refunds. The next time I called I was given to the 'bookkeeping" department and they said my check would be in the mail the following Friday. Two weeks later, it was going to be mailed the NEXT Friday. Its been seven weeks now and I give up, maybe. However, I am not finished. The Agency on Aging gave me some good suggestions which I intend to pursue. Since I am now in Tucson Arizona the incident started in Fort Worth Texas taking them to small-claims court would be problematic. At lease I can start right now warning other people. They are defrauders, bait and switchers, and just plain old bad people. How do they sleep at night? I rented a U-Haul and car hauler and my daughter and I moved me to Tucson for a third the price. I strongly recommend you do the same.
