100% SATISFIED-
My hardship started after my mother passed away in 2008. I lost her income of $2,400 which helped me qualify for the loan. She lived with me and her medical expenses for her kidney failure caused me to fall behind. When I first purchased my home I had no idea that is was an interest only, adjustable rate mortgage. If it wasn’t for my father’s contribution, I would not be able to maintain a current payment. Between 2007 and 2008 I tried to get a modification but I was denied because I was current on my payments. In 2009 I faced foreclosure because I could no longer hold on and maintain my payments on time. The lender offered me a forbearance program that I was forced to take or they would foreclose on my home that increased my payments. The lender gave me a payment which was 80% DTI without my father’s contribution. With my father’s contribution I was given a forbearance program of 58% DTI which was also an adjustable and it was a interest only loan. Robert Prado and AMERICA’S CONSUMER ADVOCACY GROUP was able to get me a new payment to $1,047.32 piti in ONLY 45 DAYS!! Thank you for all your help and getting us an afford payment.
