Has anyone used or knows anything about household relief as far as loan modifications go? Are they legitimate and are they any good?

Hi Kathy,
The company has an F rating with the LA BBB at this time. I have linked their report above for you to view. Just click on "View BBB Report".
Have you tried calling a HUD-approved nonprofits housing counselor? You can speak with a certified counselor by calling 888-995-4673. They can evaluate your housing options, open lines of communication with mortgage lenders, negotiate a loan modification, and help you with household budgeting, all at no cost.
The California Attorney Generals press release on "forensic loan audits" is posted here on TrustLink under New Scams.

Please work with your mortgage company directly. You will get just as good of results if not much better and it will not cost you anything. California is known for hundreds of scam company's please please be careful.
