The management of South Coast Auto Plaza has ignored the long standing problems I am having with my vehicle.
I have been trying to get the problems with the oil life reminder, and fuel used display corrected. I received very unprofessional level conduct when dealing with Service Director Mike Love and General Manager Mike Marin. By professional conduct I mean the returning of phone calls regarding problems with servicing.
I have had problems with the oil life reminder and fuel used displaying incorrect information for the entire life of my vehicle (first reported 3/09). South Coast Auto Plaza has continually neglected to solve these problems. The problem was escalated to the Service Director Mike Love in mid-Nov. 2009. He appeared to be trying to find a way to fix the problems, but then would not provide any status updates or return phone calls. The last time I spoke to Mr. Love he told me he'd call me back in 5 minutes (this was weeks ago!). Several more calls to him have gone unreturned.
I have attempted to discuss the problems with my vehicle with General Manager Mike Marin, and the poor service that I had been receiving from Mike Love. Several calls to Mr. Marin and messages to his staff were also unreturned. A call to the owner Hamid Hojati was also never returned. There seems to be a culture with the management of not returning phone calls!
It is extremely disappointing to see that the management staff (Mike Love and Mike Marin) at South Coast Auto Plaza ignores customer problems and complaints.
